Learners participated in a range of activities to celebrate the lead up to Christmas which were planned via the Thornbeck advent calendar.

Learners selected each window according to the date to reveal a range of activities including:

• Visiting a local garden centre to purchase a Christmas Tree and decorating it
• A Christmas bake off competition
• Christmas jumper day
• A Christmas treasure hunt with a prize
• Learning key facts about Hanukah and playing dreidel
• Learning a new Makaton Christmas carol
• A buffet lunch
• Decorating Christmas Baubles

Participating in the activities has supported learners to develop their functional skills, build positive relationships with their peers and promoted the college community.
