Our Homes

Providing bespoke residential support for autistic adults and those with learning difficulties.

Caring for and empowering adults who live life through the lens of neurodiversity, is our life's work and our passion.

Our 24-hour bespoke support services are specifically tailored to individual needs of the people in our care.

We understand the anxieties around entrusting your loved ones into the care of someone else, which is why our staff are highly-trained to encourage independence and offer the highest possible standard of care. Regular meetings with families are encouraged, to help ease any worries and ensure involvement every step of the way.

Our residential homes provide help and support allowing our adults to live safely and as independently as possible. Each home is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission. Each residential home is managed by a Registered Residential Manger who is supported by an Assistant Manager to operate the service.

Our adult homes are  registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission and are rated 'good'. This means that if residential care is the best option - there's no better place

All our homes have been carefully designed and furnished to create an autism-friendly environment, which is comfortable and welcoming for the people in our care.

Our driving aim is to provide a exemplary service which offers the following:

  • in-depth assessment and care planning process
  • full involvement of the adult and their families with regular surveys and feedback
  • a flexible, person-centred service
  • 24-hour programme of support designed to meet each persons aspirations
  • a well trained, motivated and consistent staff team offering practical and emotional support
  • a well-structured and supportive environment

Each of our residential homes is spacious, offering independence within a shared accommodation. Each individual has their own bedroom, which can be decorated based on their interests with shared access to the communal areas of the home.

What our parents say...

The relationships my daughter has with the staff is so lovely to see. As a Mum, it's been a massive relief knowing that she's so well looked after and her needs are being met. Although she still needs support, she's got a real sense of independence here and growing in confidence everyday. The staff across the organisation have all been so lovely, and I can't thank them enough.

What CQC inspectors say...

  • staff are well trained in safeguarding, care and in health and safety
  • adults are supported with dietary needs
  • care received is 'exceptionally' person-centred and responsive to each adults needs
  • relatives feel there is an open, approachable and stable management team
  • premises are clean and well maintained
  • organisational skills are good

What social workers say...

As a social worker, I come into contact with many organisations and teams who support autistic people. I can firmly state that Ashton have always provided a wonderful person-centred service and the level of commitment they have shown in supporting a young person I work with has been of particular note.

"Well done and thank you to the team for helping make a difference and sustaining a placement during challenging times, when others may have not."
