Since 2019 we’ve been campaigning for autism acceptance, working with autistic individuals, families, schools and businesses across the North-east in a bid to change the narrative on how people view and understand autism.
Six years ago we made an important shift and moved away from simply striving for awareness, pushing for autism acceptance instead. The support we’ve received along the way has been incredible but we know there's more work to be done.
You can join our campaign by learning more about autistic experience and supporting NEAS in its work to help improve the lives of autistic people.
You can also get exclusive access to our free toolkits, packed with helpful resources on autism and neurodiversity, guides to reasonable adjustments and tips for making your school, organisation or business more inclusive this Autism Acceptance Week.
By supporting this campaign, you can help drive the narrative of Autism Acceptance and make sure that autistic voices are heard loud and clear. Thank you for your support.
