Working together to inspire, support, celebrate and equip autistic and neurodiverse people to fulfil their potential in life.

Class 6 organised Red Nose Day to help raise money for Comic Relief. We thought up lots of different activities that could raise money. We then gave each class responsibility for an activity. We had cake stall, throw wet sponges, sweet cones, nose pong game and wax Dean's leg.

Class 6 were responsible for sweet cones. We bought red sweets and created the cones making sure our hands were clean. We then worked as a team meeting our community target of working towards a common goal. Once we placed the sweets inside, we then tied them with red ribbon. We worked out how much to charge per cone to make a profit and ensure we covered the cost of the sweets.

Dean bravely volunteered to have his leg waxed for charity. He raised a shocking £21 alone just to have his hairy leg waxed by staff and students. As you can see Dean enjoyed getting his leg waxed.

Overall, we raised £100.50 for comic relief including £40 from selling red noses. Well done Mackenzie Thorpe!!!
