Welcome to the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre!

Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it provides you with some useful information about our school.

The school offers a broad, balanced and responsive curriculum, which is personalised to individual learners. At Mackenzie Thorpe Centre we aim to ensure all children leave us well equipped for their next stage in life, whether this be further education, apprenticeship, supported living or one of the many other opportunities available to our learners.

I believe we have an outstanding team of staff at Mackenzie Thorpe Centre, who ensure every child is given the best opportunity to succeed in everything they do. And we have created a learning environment where everyone can feel safe and appreciated for their individual contributions.

As a school we get to know each young person as an individual and put in place strategies which remove barriers to learning, providing them with a meaningful education. We place the learner at the heart of everything we do at Mackenzie Thorpe Centre.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you require further information, to organise a visit or to book in on our next open day.
