We did some Yoga outside and we have been doing Yoga every morning this week. The children have really enjoyed it and staff have too. We have talked about how we feel after exercise. Our Health and well-being target is to understand the benefits of regular physical activity has on mental well-being. We have also been doing some boxercise. Additionally, we have taken our learning outside when we can. The children enjoyed learning about positional language where they used quarter turns, half turns, whole turns, clockwise and anti-clockwise to direct staff around the playground. We have used our eyes to see colourful feathers, our ears to hear crunchy crisps, our hands to feel slimy spaghetti, our noses to smell juicy strawberries and our tongues to taste yummy milkshakes!
