One of the activities we completed helped us understand how the movements of the Moon in relation to the Earth and Sun are related to the eight phases of the Moon. We demonstrated our understanding of these phases using oreos. We shaped the cream to represent the shape of the Moon that is visible to Earth throughout the cycle. This term, we are also learning to use travel training to build our independence. For our first lesson, we developed our knowledge of road signs and looked for these in our local area. We were surprised to find that we didn’t come across as many road signs as we thought we would, especially as we approached North Tees. Manage Cookie Preferences
