The pupils at Kiora Hall celebrated Chinese New Year this afternoon. The pupils watched The Great Race and had the opportunity to retell it through puppets. 

A member of Birch Class explored and learned all about the wishing tree, a Chinese tradition that people do at New Year. One of the activities was the pupils could decorate and write a wish and place it on our school tree.

We had lots of other activities set up for the pupils to enjoy. They had lantern making, Chinese food tasting, noodle sensory play and Dragon Dancing!
