Yesterday Oak class went to the library.

We walked together as a group and the learners were really excited to get their own library cards.

Our pupils each got a library card and were able to borrow up to 10 books per person.

They all learned how to check out the books, as well as scanning their own library cards. They will use these books every day to read in our accelerated reading sessions.

All of that picking and choosing made our pupils hungry so we all went for a drink or an ice cream.

We had such a great afternoon and already cannot wait to return!
