These beautiful flowers are unfortunately endangered but we are lucky enough to have the most beautiful display this time of year. The learners enjoyed exploring the countryside, identifying a range of flowers and plants and even tried a bit of bird spotting. The visit tied in with our recent Science topic of plants as well as providing us an opportunity to use our recently donated walking boots. We also discussed how walking in the countryside was a great way of keeping fit, especially when we climb up hills! Manage Cookie Preferences
