Employment Futures exists to help remove barriers to meaningful employment for autistic adults and/or those with learning difficulties.
The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new job placements for 16 to 24 year olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long term unemployment. They will be able to access a six-month paid placement for 25 hours a week. Employers of all sizes can apply for funding which covers 100% of the National Minimum Wage (age dependent). Funding can also be granted to cover external training for employers.
Employers can spread the date of the job placement up until the end of December 2021.
