Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Elanor's Beauty Bar

In October, Elanor opened the social enterprise ‘beauty bar’.

On the grand opening Elanor and her peers prepared a selection of refreshments such as cakes and soft drinks. In total 15 customers were served and a total of £32 was made. This money will be re-invested into the social enterprise to purchase new stock. Elanor is now brain storming new ideas for the venture.

The Sunderland Minster café closed during the pandemic but is being reopened thanks to a partnership with the North East Autism Society (NEAS).
