Presenter: Quinn Dexter

After entering the workplace 40 years ago with an autism diagnosis already under his belt, Quinn watched the working environment for autists like himself change from a hostile obstacle course of unrealistic expectations and opaque social rules, to an equitable and comfortable experience where neurodivergent employees can expect the same opportunities and respect as their neurotypical colleagues. You probably guessed part of that sentence isn't true and if you'd like to confirm you guessed right and why, join Quinn to explore how we can go about doing something about it together.

About the presenter

Quinn Dexter was diagnosed as autistic as a teenager more than 30 years ago. After years working in construction, manufacturing, retail and management, he realised how little society had changed since his diagnosis and became an advocate and educator online. He blogs and vlogs as Autistamatic covering autism and autistic life. Quinn, who is also a freelance writer, speaker and video editor, describes himself as a committed believer in the benefits to society and to business of embracing neurodivergent people.
