Is there an age limit? Expand ProgressNE can be accessed by anyone aged 18 and over, there is no upwards limit.
Do I need a formal diagnosis? Expand Not at all. You don’t need to be diagnosed with any neurodiverse condition, or learning disability, to access support via ProgressNE.
What is neurodiversity? Expand Neurodiversity is the belief that all brain wiring - or neurological difference - is essentially a normal variation in humanity. Neurodiversity understands and sees wonder in the fact that differences exist, but doesn’t place more or less value on these different variations. Examples of neurodiverse conditions include: dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD.
Do I need to be autistic to access support? Expand No. While ProgressNE does support autistic individuals, the programme is designed to help those who are neurodivergent, have learning difficulties or disabilities, or who may be struggling with poor mental health.
