Family Development

Made possible from a wealth of experience gathered over four decades serving the North-east we’ve created a Family Resources website just for you.

Brought together by our Family Development team, members of our Neurodiversity think tank and from families sending us their tips and advice we’ve put together a bank of free resources to help you, as part of our valued community, to navigate the day-to-day challenges of life.

We are committed to supporting our families across the North East and with the support from the National Lottery Community Fund, we have been able to develop our innovative Virtual Support Hub.

The hub will offer online support through Zoom webinars that is delivered by our family development team.

Becca Welch, a Family Worker who has been involved in the design of the hub, stated:

It’s vital that families can reach out, get support and know they are not alone. We hope that the virtual hubs provide a platform to do this.

The virtual hub has been well received across the community, with many family members registering on the advertised sessions.
