Early Years Sessions

This is a FREE service for parents/carers of pre school children with special needs.

These groups are intended to bring support advice and information on other services available at a time of great need. Trained autism practitioners will deliver sessions that aim to:

  • provide a safe place where parents can spend time with other parents who are in similar situation. 
  • provide information, advice and signposting in relation to parents and their child’s needs.
  • provide a space where children are able to have fun, engaging in activities which are meaningful and positive.

Newton Aycliffe Group

  • The group meet every Tuesday, from 10.00 – 12.00 and Thursday, from 11.30 - 1.00pm
  • Neville community centre, Nevilles Parade, Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, DL5 5DH

Stanley Group

  • The group meet every Friday, from 1.00 - 2.30pm
  • Stanley, Clifford Rd, Stanley, County Durham, DH9 0AB

Sunderland Group

  • The group meet every Thursday, from 9.30 - 11.00am 
  • Rainbow Family Centre, 34 Elliott Terrace, Washington, NE37 3AE

Stockton Groups

We currently have three groups in the Stockton area:

Thornaby

  • The group meet every Tuesday, from 10.00-11.30am
  • Early support nursery Tedder Ave, Thornaby, TS179JP

Billingham 

  • The group meet every Tuesday, from 1.00-2.30pm 
  • Billingham Family Hub, Ochil Terrace Stockton TS232QL

Central Stockton 

  • The group meet every Wednesday, from 1.00-2.30pm
  • Family hub, Yarm Road, TS18-3PJ

North Tyneside Groups

Shiremoor

  • The group meet every Friday, from 10.00-11.30am
  • 9 Bridge Terrace, NE27 0TA

Meadowell

  • The group meet every Friday, from 1.00-2.30pm
  • Minton Lane, North Shields, NE29 6PQ
