Bess Robertson from Darlington Synagogue shared family artefacts such as Hebrew texts, items of clothing and food. Class 6 made Challah bread for people to try, and pupils also joined in with a whole-school artwork inspired by Jewish artist Otto Freundlich, who died in a concentration camp.
