Thornhill Park School

Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Pupils at Thornhill Park School have been completing a range of activities in the run up to Easter.  A number of learners designed and made Easter bonnets, investigating and exploring various materials that they could use. Pupils were able to take part in travel training to purchase resources. A number of our young people visited Bill Quay farm to complete an egg hunt and to visit and meet some of the baby animals. Learners were also able to participate in an egg hunt around the school grounds, using their problem solving skills, following instructions and embedding functional literacy and numeracy.
