A family law firm in Sunderland has donated £250 to the North East Autism Society for its lifeline services helping thousands of families across the region.

Stowe Family Law, whose Sunderland office is in Doxford Park, said: "We admire the work you do empowering and supporting autistic children, young people, adults and their families and we hope our small donation can help you continue with this."

The charity was founded more than 40 years ago by a group of families in Sunderland, and has now expanded to offer four schools and a college, social and vocational programmes for adults, residential homes, supported living, short breaks, family support and employability services at 53 sites across the North East.

Jon Appleton, fundraising officer for NEAS, said: "We are so grateful to Stowe Family Law for their donation, which will help make such a difference to the children, young people and adults who access our services."

Stowe Family Law has divorce lawyers and financial experts operating throughout Tyne and Wear from its Sunderland office at https://www.stowefamilylaw.co.uk/offices/sunderland.
