Learners participated in a range of desk based and practical activities including: Completing a primary survey of a potential casualty including; checking for danger, checking for a response, opening airway, checking breathing, checking circulation and treating the steps as needed Completing CPR Using a Defibrillator Treating minor injuries Using slings and bandages Role play activity to contact the emergency services Participating in workshop has supported learners to develop their skills and knowledge in relation to First Aid which has also supported the development of their employability skills.
