Durham Constabulary delivered a knife crime workshop to learners at Thornbeck College. The workshop supported learners to increase their knowledge and understanding of knife crime including:

• Legal consequences of carrying a knife
• Statistics of knife crimes and how often people are injured by their own knife
• What to do if someone you know is carrying a weapon
• Case studies and photo evidence of knife injuries 
• Example of the impact knife crime has on an individual and their wider circle of support

The workshop supported learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of personal safety.
