Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Visit to the Great North Museum

As part of community inclusion, Moon Class enjoyed a trip to the Great North Museum in Newcastle.

While taking in the history behind each exhibition and enjoying the artefacts on display, the pupils of Moon Class also completed a scavenger hunt along the way.

Moon class enjoy a creative week making their own coloured t-shirts and designing robots in IT.
Beach surprise for litter pickers

When pupils went to the beach as part of their science project, they were delighted to be greeted by the sight of dolphins out to sea.
Recipes for success

Sun class create their own recipes to follow in cookery lessons and have created some delicious dishes.
