During the school council meeting, pupils discussed the idea of having a 'Buddy Bench' in school. They suggested that this would help develop friendship with other learners from around the school and somewhere to go if they were ever feeling lonely. A number of pupils volunteered to become 'Buddy Monitors' to support with this.

Pupils got in touch with a Local company called 'Clayton Hand Made' where Shawn said he would be more then happy to make the bespoke bench and even donated it to the school.  - Thank you Shawn!

The bench is now in school, and pupils have selected a number of games and books that they can play together and read together at the bench.
