Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Police visit to mark Careers Week

As part of Careers Week, pupils took part in a workshop with Northumbria Police.

Pupils were able to ask questions about the role of a police officer and learn about the requirements on how to become a police officer. They were involved in role play activities, trying on the police uniform and gaining an understanding of how a police car works.
