The eight new children’s apartments will be based on the North East Centre for Autism site in Newton Aycliffe and will provide bespoke accommodation for young people up to the age of 18.

Chief Executive, John Phillipson, said:

This really will be a life changing amount of money because it will help us create state-of-the-art homes for young people who need specialist care and living space – changing the lives of all those who will call this home. We are incredibly grateful to Jewson and for getting to this stage of the competition. Now we are relying on our friends and families to help us.

Please vote, share it on social media and spread the word! The North East Autism Society needs you!

The news that NEAS had been shortlisted came just this week so now it’s time to pull out all the stops before judging begins on June 19th.
