NEAS have completed renovation work on a disused building at the North East Centre for Autism, our £9m educational facility in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. Sir Peter Vardy Enterprise Centre @ Thornbeck has enabled the college to increase its range of vocational pathways on offer for learners. The college continues to provide high quality personalised Study Programmes designed to increase learners social and economic inclusion.

Christine Dempster, Director of Education at NEAS said; "The official opening of the enterprise centre is another important stage in the development of our site in Newton Aycliffe, and demonstrates our continuous drive to increase the range of high quality learning environments available to individuals who access our services."

Sir Peter Vardy kindly marked the occasion by officially opening the centre to promote and express his personal support to this fantastic new venture based in the heart of the North East Region, we are extremely grateful to Sir Peter for his continued support and adding something extra special to the day!
