Across North East Autism Society, we celebrated Halloween in the most SPOOKTACULAR ways!

Thornhill Park School hosted a Halloween Garden Party. There were terrifying treats, fancy dress competitions, pumpkin carving and even a performance of Thriller!

The Halloween event was an amazing opportunity for our pupils to show the skills they have learned. Each pupil brought a unique element to the day showcasing performing arts and media, art and design, IT, catering,  English and maths as well as social skills, teamwork and community inclusion. They're all still buzzing!

Well done to the fancy dress winners, Taylor Jackson and Skye Smith. Skye also won the pumpkin carving competition!

Thornbeck College celebrated with a spooky party with a creepy buffet! The students prepared Halloween themed soaps and chocolates which they sold at at the event.

Students also engaged in a range of spooky activities including pumpkin carving and making wooden decorations, which were display throughout the college.

Everyone had a fab-boo-lous time!

Our residential homes didn't hold back in their celebrations either with Braemer, Wallingford and Cedar House all having their own Halloween parties with lots of ghoulish decorations!

The children enjoyed taking part in Halloween traditions like apple bobbing and trick-or-treating.

Some of our adults from Ashton braved the Beamish Halloween trail. Jenna and Nathan loved dressing up in their costumes and creeping through it in the dark!

Others from Thornhill Park enjoyed dressing up as their favourite spooky characters like Spiderman and the Grim Reaper!
