It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

On Saturday, New Warlands Farm held their annual Christmas fete raising a massive £2,121.95!

The fete was a huge success with staff, students and members of the community coming together and enjoying some Christmas shopping. Stanley Mayor, Alexander Clegg, also attended and enjoyed seeing the developments of the training centre.

There were many festive stalls to browse with products handmade by students from across the society.

Snowdrop the Spikeshuffler made his first public appearance and enjoyed getting pictures taken with excited fans! Author Peter Barron and illustrator Jonathan Raiseborgh attended the fete and were signing purchased copies of their Snowdrop book.

Jonathan said:

It's fantastic to see Snowdrop come to life! Everybody seems to love him and as the illustrator it's just amazing to finally see him here.

Thank you to everyone who attended and we wish you all a Merry Christmas!
