Meaningful work experience for our learners is a key priority at Thornhill Park School.  Kiera has recently started her work experience at Bishop Wear Mouth Garden Centre.

She was very enthusiastic to begin work and to find out about the jobs she would be doing. Kiera was able to remove the dead leaves from the flowers to allow the flowers to continue to grow and helped to keep the Garden Centre tidy by removing the rubbish.

A uniform for work was provided and Kiera was very excited to try this on. Amazing job Kiera, we are all very proud of how hard you worked!
