Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Confidence with maths

Pupils in Rainbow Class have been exploring adding, subtracting and shapes as part of their morning circle time and their busy book routine.

This has allowed the children the confidence to engage in these resources as part of their play and access maths independently.

When pupils went to the beach as part of their science project, they were delighted to be greeted by the sight of dolphins out to sea.
