Thornhill Park School is an independent specialist school based in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear for pupils aged 4-19

Our mission is to work together inspiring, supporting, celebrating and equipping autistic and neurodiverse children, young people and adults.

Community inclusion at the Metrocentre

Pupils from Moon class enjoyed a trip to the Metrocentre for their weekly community inclusion outing.

They were able to purchase a ticked to access the train to travel to and from and showed outstanding listening skills whilst accessing a busy environment.

To finish the outing, pupils spent time in the LEGO store and played against each other at air hockey. Well done Moon class!
