FOR more than 40 years the North East Autism Society has been caring for, educating, empowering and celebrating autistic people and their families.

But while our work carries on 365-days-a-year there’s one week every year when our region rallies together.

From 29th March - 4th April is World Autism Acceptance Week.

We can hardly believe it’s been a year since our landmarks turned gold lighting up the North-east sky with a message of hope and acceptance.

But in many ways the pressures and changes of the last year, due to the Covid 19 pandemic and global political change, make our acceptance campaign more important that ever.

The question is, will you join us on the road to acceptance?
