Bradley Rowntree, from Barnard Castle, is holding the event on Friday, October 2, this is the second year running that he has organised the event for the NEAS and will feature some of the best professional golfers in the region.

Mr Rowntree said: “It’s great to be involved with the North East Autism Society again this year with the Charity Pro Am at Richmond Yorks Golf Club. Last year was a huge success with the main sponsors, CJ Lightfoot Jewellers and Richmond Grill & Brasserie and this year promises to be even better.

My brother Adam has autism and I understand the difficulties some families can face when they don’t get the right support. The charity are currently celebrating their 35th anniversary and are raising funds to expand their Family Development Services which includes toddler groups, family training workshops and support groups.
