Sunderland 10k
A brand new event for 2026, the Sunderland 10k is a fast, flat, out-and-back course along the Roker seafront all on surfaced tarmac paths. Heading up and down the promenade, you’ll take in the stunning seaside vistas and complete a lap of Roker Park on this run which is perfect for both chasing a PB, or trying your hand at a 10k for the first time.

Entry Cost & Sponsorship
We’ve partnered with Run For Charity to offer a limited number of places in this event for just £20.00 per person (plus booking fee). For this event, we ask all participants to commit to raising £50.00 in sponsorship for North East Autism Society and the services we provide for autistic people and their families across the region.
The event is open to anyone aged 15+, and all finishers will receive free race photos on the course, various goodies, and a shiny medal to hang round your neck with pride. We’ll provide you with a Team NEAS running vest to wear on the day too, so you can show off your team colours as you conquer your challenge!
How To Enter
You can enter this event for Team NEAS by clicking the button below and completing your sign up with Run For Charity. Your details will be passed along to us to notify us that you’ve signed up and so we can support your journey to the start line, but won’t be shared with anyone else.
Please note, NEAS is subsidising the entry fee to this event as a fundraising opportunity. If you don’t meet the required sponsorship target ahead of the event, we reserve the right to withdraw your entry. We’ll be in communication with you throughout the buildup to the big day and will offer help and support to help you reach your target.
