We fundraise on an ongoing basis for all aspects of our work. Charitable Trusts and Foundations are vital in providing this support and have made an enormous impact on what we do; allowing us to develop a range of projects and initiatives to enhance the lives of autistic people and their families.

We are immensely grateful for the grants received.

Thank you to the following funders:

North of Tyne Combined Authority Employment and Skills Programme

Supports an inclusive economy in the North of Tyne area by providing funding for tailored employment intervention programmes, to help remove barriers for economically inactive and unemployed individuals movement into work.

Edward Gostling Foundation

A charity providing support to organisations working with individuals in need; based on Gostling’s vision that disabled people on low incomes should have equal rights, opportunities and quality of life.

Mid Durham Area Action Partnership

A partnership consisting of various members of the public, Durham County Council Representatives, police, fire service and health. They identify local actions and priorities to take for the benefit of their communities.

Ballinger Charitable Trust

Supports young people throughout the North East to promote their health and development; also helps older people in the community, with priority given to those from more disadvantaged areas.

County Durham Community Foundation (Point North)

Creating stronger communities, helping those in the area to survive hardship and promoting good health and wellbeing.

W A Handley Charitable Trust

A grant making trust that award grants in order to support the welfare of those who are disadvantaged, elderly and/or disabled.

National Lottery Awards for All England

Supports projects for up to two years with a funding totalling anywhere between £300 and £20,000. Funds projects that bring people and communities together, supporting communities and organisations.

United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) Gateshead Council

Central pillar of the Government’s Levelling up agenda including helping boost productivity, jobs and living standards, spread opportunities and improve public services; restoring a sense of community and empower local communities.

Frazer Trust

The scheme aims to fund a wide range of charitable activities. The Joseph Strong Frazer Trust Grant is provided by Joseph Miller and Co. It is available to registered charities throughout England and Wales

Countryside Stewardship Capital Grant

Countryside Stewardship agreements provide financial incentives for farmers to look after and improve the environment.

William Leech Charity

Their objective is to make grants for charitable purposes in line with the guidelines of the Founder. The Main Fund remains unrestricted and continues to make awards to registered charities in the North East of England.

Woodland Trust: MoreWoods Scheme

Woodland Trust help where 500+ trees are planted on at least half a hectare, will visit sites, help design woodland, create a bespoke species mix, supply the agreed trees and tree protection, and cover up to 75% of costs.

Northumbrian Water (Branch Out Fund)

The Branch Out funds help deliver benefits for our natural environment, building resilience for the wildlife and people who are dependent on it.

North East Humanists

A local charity who want as many people as possible in the North East of England to have awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Humanism as a purposeful and moral basis for leading a happy and fulfilling life.

UKSPF South Tyneside Council

South Tyneside Council support organisations delivering employment support projects and activities in the area. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda.

County Durham Community Foundation (Point North) Health Improvement Fund

The fund provides grants to support health and wellbeing projects that improve people's lives and enhance the work of the NHS in County Durham and Darlington.

Carbon Footprint

In kind funding providing trees for schools, breathing new life into unused green space; giving children an opportunity to learn about tree-planting and conservation, and the impact of climate change and the environment.

The Percy Bilton Charity

Support is given to organisations and individuals in need throughout the UK; those assisting disadvantaged youth, people with disabilities, people with mental health problems and older people through grants towards equipment.

The Rothley Trust

Gives small grants to assist groups with charitable work in the North East. The Trust focuses on the needs of children and young people in areas of disadvantage.

Royal Society of Chemistry Outreach Fund

The outreach fund is well set up and administered to allow organisations to run innovative and meaningful projects that deliver strong outcomes for young people.

Sustainable Farming Incentive

The Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) gives farmers a choice of actions that reward and support sustainable food production while protecting and enhancing nature.

Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF)

The FETF provides grants for farming equipment and technology that supports improvements in productivity, slurry management and animal health and welfare.

CLA Charitable Trust

The CLA Charitable Trust is dedicated to helping those who are disabled or disadvantaged to visit and participate in learning experiences about the countryside.
