LGBTQ+ History Month
February is LGBTQ+ Month and Aycliffe School has spent the entire month celebrating the lives of LGBTQ people by reading about different achievements, struggles, and activism. Each class studied a book that contained age-appropriate material so students could learn about and celebrate the LGBTQ community. Students shared what they learned from their book in a whole school event where students presented what all they had learned. Class prepared activities such as sensory trays, book reports, building family trees, and crafts.
