Why give through the payroll?
Payroll Giving is an easy, tax-effective way to give to the North East Autism Society, so it costs you less to give more. Payroll donations provide us with a regular, reliable income stream that enables us to plan and budget for the future. Another important factor is that we don't have to spend on raising money if we can depend upon your gift being received automatically.

Which charities can I give to?
You can give to any UK charity through the payroll but we hope you will consider the North East Autism Society for your gift. All you will have to do is fill in a brief form with the amount you want to give and pass this to your payroll department. (This presumes your employer has signed up for payroll giving).

Frequently asked questions

How much should I give?
This is your personal decision. You can give as much or as little as you like.

How do I join the scheme?
Simply complete the online registration form or return our application form and and we will do the rest.

What happens when I sign up and submit my information?
You will receive an email to confirm we have received your details. Your request will then be passed onto your employer who will set up your regular donation.

How can I find out if my employer offers payroll giving?
Ask your payroll department and if they do not offer the scheme, suggest they start one. It's easy and inexpensive to run. For further information, they can contact us on 0191 410 9974 or email us. If your employer does offer the scheme, remember to ask if they will match your donation.

Do I have to commit for a long time?
No. If your circumstances change and you no longer want to donate this way, inform your payroll department that you want the payments to cease.

We will write to you to thank you for your donation and we will also send you our charity newsletter and information about our upcoming events and activities we think you and your family may want to support.
