Sycamore Class recently enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to the Senses Wellbeing Centre in Skelton, where they spent a morning exploring the centre’s wonderful Sensory Room. This unique environment offered a wide range of sensory experiences designed to stimulate and engage the senses in a calm, supportive setting.
During their time there, learners had the opportunity to interact with lights, textures, sounds, and movement, all carefully designed to promote relaxation, curiosity, and exploration. The visit provided a safe and enjoyable space for learners to develop their sensory awareness while having lots of fun. We are proud to see our Sycamore Class learners becoming more familiar and comfortable with community visits, which play a valuable role in their personal and educational development.
Well done, Sycamore Class, for embracing the experience with such enthusiasm!
