Work Placements on New Warlands Farm
We are currently in the early stages of developing New Warlands Farm into a training and visitor centre that will feature a working farm, petting zoo, café, cider press, and farm shop.
We expect the development to be completed by Spring 2026, though we may have farm placements opening up before then.
When opened, placements and job roles will be available through our website.
We hope to offer work placements, jobs and training in farming, retail, food production and hospitality, covering a diverse range of activities within these sectors.
As development takes place we will be able to offer more detailed information on specific job roles on the farm.
Eligibility criteria is yet to be established, but the farm aims to benefit autistic people and those who are neurodivergent, and furthest from the labour market.
Our Employment Futures service currently offers job coaching and support to people across different areas of the North East.
If we are unable to offer support for any reason, we will be happy to signpost you to other support options.
