Exploring University with Northumbria

Learners from Aycliffe School have had two visits from Northumbria University’s student outreach team.

Nicola and Danielle worked with groups of our post-14 learners to explore the different types of courses that can be studied at university, the advantages of studying at university and developing employability skills.

The learners were then tasked to design their own university, before they participated in a series of activities to test their knowledge.
