Ouseburn Farm

Learners at Thornbeck College participated in an experiential visit at Ouseburn Farm.

Learners explored the site and were able to gain insight into what a career working with small animals, agriculture or horticulture would look like.

Learners took part in handling some exotic animals and visiting the large farm animals.

This experience has increased learners understanding of future career pathways and what skills are desired in this vocational area. Learners have engaged in a practical learning experience which has improved their knowledge on looking after animals in a professional environment.
