Career Wave

We were delighted to welcome Career Wave into college this week to deliver a series of impartial careers advice and guidance sessions for our learners.

The sessions provided an invaluable opportunity for students to explore their future options in a supportive and person-centred environment.

Career Wave’s advisers offered tailored, objective guidance—free from bias or pre-determined outcomes—helping learners to develop the skills needed to make informed and confident decisions about their next steps.

As part of the experience, learners were encouraged to reflect on their personal qualities, identify individual strengths and interests, and begin shaping their long-term aspirations.

The sessions focused on self-awareness, goal setting, and understanding the different routes available, including further education, supported employment, and vocational training.

The visit from Career Wave forms part of our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, accessible careers education for all students, equipping them with the tools and knowledge they need to pursue independent, fulfilling lives.
