The Edward Gostling Foundation

Edward Gostling's vision was that people who had a disability should have as many as possible of the same "choices, quality of life opportunities and aspirations" as others. The Foundation in his name has made a £250,000 grant to the Growing Futures appeal.

Garfield Weston Foundation

Established in 1958, the Garfield Weston Foundation is a family founded grant-maker that gives money to support a wide variety of charities across the UK. The Foundation made a grant of £250,000 in November 2024 for the development of the farm project.

The Laing Family Trusts

The family of Sir John Laing, founder of the international construction company named after him, set up four grant-making trusts to build on his Christian philanthropy. The trusts have made a grant of £50,000 towards the Growing Futures appeal.

North East Local Growth Fund

Administered by the North East Combined Authority, the Local Growth Fund is aimed at delivering a range of initiatives to support local economic growth. It provided a £150,000 grant to the North East Autism Society to kickstart the development of New Warlands farm.
