Trip to the Farm

The learner thoroughly enjoyed his trip to the farm, where he proudly wore his wellies and took part in a range of farming activities. He enjoyed feeding the animals and learning about the important role of a farmer, which helped to enhance his understanding of farming as a career. During the visit, he confidently took part in daily farm tasks and showed great enthusiasm when encouraging staff to join in and help be farmers alongside him. One of his favourite activities was riding on the go-kart with staff, which brought lots of smiles and laughter. Throughout the day, the learner demonstrated excellent engagement and social interaction, often showing his much-loved Shaun the Sheep face, which brought amusement to both staff and peers. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to develop communication skills, increase independence, and gain a greater understanding of the farming profession while having a fun and memorable experience.
