Kelvin’s Visit to Culture House

Kelvin expressed an interest in buying some new books so staff suggested Kelvin visit a library and further suggested the new Culture House in Sunderland. Kelvin excitedly replied “yes” so we planned an afternoon. We parked at the Stadium of Light, walked across Keel Crossing then used our road safety to safely cross to arrive at The Culture House. Kelvin loved exploring the different floors within the library. He particularly enjoyed the fictional books in the children’s section. He selected 3 books about animals then used the scanner to check them out himself. He then excitedly carried the books out taking them back to school to keep ready to read each day before returning them and replacing them the following week.
