Safety Superstars

Pupils from Moon Class explored different types of online scams as part of Safer Internet Day. Pupils were able to come up and describe their experiences on the internet while exploring some common scams as part of their whole class teaching.

The pupils then became Scam Detectives, using a whole class voting system to decide if the scenario in question was a scam or not. The pupils’ were able to use the facts they had just learnt to justify their opinions and help them make deductions.

As an independent task at the end of the session, the pupils produced a PowerPoint featuring their five top tips for staying safe online.
