Aaron came to Thornhill Park School in 2020 and has made a huge impression on everybody he meets. Aaron has achieved an incredible amount during his time with us and made many friends.

Mayor’s Visit to Emsworth
At Emsworth, we had a lovely visit from the Mayor of Sunderland – Ehthseham Haque.
Zak (Class 3) who recently received a commendation from the mayor for his work at Love Amelia, greeted the mayor when he arrived and assisted in giving the mayor a tour of Emsworth. Zak showed the mayor around to the different classrooms, introducing the mayor to all learners and staff.
After the tour, all learners and staff came together in an assembly, where they had the opportunity to ask the mayor questions – where we learned the mayor likes Monopoly and prefers Mint Clubs over Orange Clubs.
Learners and staff both enjoyed asking their own questions. We greatly enjoyed this visit and are thankful the mayor took the time to visit us – which earned the mayor a sticker from Aaron (Class 1).
