Autism Acceptance Day

Learners, staff, parents and carers celebrated World Autism Acceptance Day on 2nd April with a range of events and activities to highlight the importance of neurodiversity and to promote acceptance and recognition of the strengths and talents of individuals with autism.

In classes, learners wrote poems around the theme ‘This is me’ which highlighted their individual skills, talents and interests. They also researched famous figures who are neurodivergent.

Parents and carers were invited to join us in a colour run across the school grounds ending our celebrations in a joyful, vibrant and memorable way.
