Mackenzie Thorpe praises school named in his honour
The world renowned artist and NEAS patron praised the Mackenzie Thorpe Centre during a visit to the Middlesbrough school.

Yellow Class - Red Nose Day and Therapy Dogs
Yellow Class have been having lots of fun putting their decorating skills to good use while supporting Red Nose Day, as part of their developing independent living skills. The children enjoyed icing the biscuits and finishing them with strawberry “red noses”. They carefully followed instructions throughout the activity.
The children in Yellow Class have been enjoying their weekly visits from the therapy dogs, Wren and Blue. They took them for walks outside and had some lovely cuddles. Although some of children were a little nervous at first, they remained very gentle and calm, showing growing confidence and positive interactions with the dogs.
