To mark World Environment Day, pupils in Moon Class have explored the impacts of plastic pollution on the environment and have designed a campaign to help encourage more people in the UK to recycle.
The pupils produced a range of posters and presentations to stress the consequences of plastic pollution and to suggest alternatives.
The pupils also used the Stop Disasters game to explore the impact of global warming on environmental hazards and explore the way that we can protect people living in high risk areas from events such as floods, wild fires and hurricanes.
Finally, the pupils conducted a science experiment to see how warmer seas would influence the rate the ice caps were melting and how this was all linked pollution.
